This morning, the Browns had yet another positive test. This shouldn’t have much of an impact in regard to Sunday’s game. However, the Browns are having to meet virtually today while their facility has to remain closed due to contract tracing being underdone.
The Browns have had quite a whirlwind of a week when it has come to COVID-19 tests. We wish them all the best in their recoveries from the virus. It’s truly no joke, however, the show must go on, so they need to figure out who was around this staff member and make sure that they are tested and isolated.
The good news for Browns fans is that this coach isn’t Kevin Stefanski according to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com. So, that is good news for Browns fans however, this isn’t the news you want to break right before their biggest game of the year. This game decides whether or not they are going to playoffs.
In addition to the coaches who have tested positive, the Browns have five players who have tested positive. These players will all miss the game, and they are: Denzel Ward, B.J. Goodson, Malcom Smith, Andrew Sendejo and Harrison Bryant.
Hopefully, we don’t see any more positives tests tomorrow, this could potentially put this matchup between the Steelers and the Browns in jeopardy and make the ending of Week 17 for the NFL quite messy. We will update you when we know more.
