Bleacher Report feels Pittsburgh would be a good landing spot for QB Kyle Trask

The Steelers have not met with many quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL draft. In fact, they have only met with second-tier quarterbacks like Kellen Mond and Kyle Trask. Throughout the draft process, the Steelers have been linked to Kyle Trask the most. It still is very unclear if the Steelers will be drafting a quarterback in the 2021 NFL draft because Ben Roethlisberger is back for another year. Ben could decide to come back in 2022, but the Steelers need to really start looking for their future quarterback.

Bleacher Report feels the best landing spot for Florida's quarterback Kyle Trask would be with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They feel all of the top quarterback prospects will be gone by the time the Steelers feel like drafting a quarterback. The Steelers also do not have a quarterback on the books going into the 2022 season. Bleacher Report feels the Steelers should develop a quarterback behind Ben Roethlisberger during the 2021 season.

In two seasons Kyle Trask has posted 68 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Trask has shown he has a big-time arm throughout his time with the Gators. He can sling the ball all over the field, but he is a pocket passer. For those saying pocket passers are becoming dinosaurs in the NFL let me remind you that a pocket passer won the Super Bowl this year. Bleacher Report feels if the Steelers fix their offensive line over the course of the next year, Trask could stand tall in the pocket and become a decent starter going forward for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
