Bleacher Reports ranks the Steelers 2021 Defense out of the Top-10

The 2021 Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be one of the most disrespected teams during their offseason so far. Many Draft Analysts have given the Steelers awful draft grades and much of the National Media feel the Steelers are going to finally have a losing season in 2021. The disrespect keeps going on and on after their collapse at the end of the 2020 season. Little do much of the media know who don't follow them closely is their issues were on the offensive side of the ball and not on the defensive side. Now the Steelers will walk into the 2021 season with a running game to help give the defense more rest which will make all of the difference in the world.

Bleacher Report recently Power Ranked all 32 NFL Teams Defenses. The disrespect continued only this time it was on the defensive side of the ball. They did admit the Steelers had an elite defense in 2020, but they feel it will be hard to replicate their successes going into 2021. The Steelers ended up losing two top-notch defenders and will need to replace them. Bud Dupree and Mike Hilton both left in the offseason, but the Steelers do have Alex Highsmith to help offset Dupree. Although the Steelers do have Highsmith and TJ Watt Bleacher Report still feel they won't be as loaded on the defensive side of the ball in 2021.

The Steelers fourth-round pick Buddy Johnson is most likely the Steelers starter from their 'mediocre draft haul' according to Bleacher Report. Quincy Roach also has the potential to play on the edge going into the future, but may not end up making the final roster.

Although the Steelers ranked 3rd in points and yards allowed in 2020 Bleacher Report still finds the need to put disrespect on the Steelers Defense. Either they're serious or just looking for clicks right now because clearly, they're not big fans of how the Steelers are shaping their 2021 team.
