Bruce Arians will be heading back to the Super Bowl on February 7th. Only this time with a different football team. Is it really different though? Sure the team logo and players may be different, but Arians said recently on the Rich Eisen Show that his wife said this Tampa Bay team reminds her of the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl-winning team. Bruce Arians agreed with her fully and explained why they're so similar.
Both teams were having fun playing football. They both were 7-5 after 12 games and both needed to win 3 games on the road to get to the Super Bowl. They both did. The only thing left to see is if Tampa will pull off the Super Bowl win against a tough Kansas City team.
Bruce Arians on the 2020 Tampa Bay team: “The comradery on the sidelines,” Arians explained. “The way this team pulls for each other. The offense might pull out the defense. The special teams might pull out everybody. The defense pulls out the offense. Everybody just has so much fun doing it.”
Arians says he hasn't been close with a group of guys like the 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers since the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers team. Pittsburgh Steeler fans should remember Bruce Arians as a coach in 2005. There are many similarities between both teams. It is great to hear Bruce happy again with Football. He will forever be in the history books as a Super Bowl-winning coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
