Bud Dupree is ahead of schedule with his rehab and plans on being ready to play in Training Camp

Bud Dupree was having himself a season in 2020. He was just recently franchise-tagged and looked like one of the NFL's most elite rushers in the league. That was until he tore his ACL. Very unfortunate. He was on pace to have a career season. Dupree has been seen in recent videos during his rehabilitation. He was seen walking recently and looks like he is doing great. He was on Good Morning Football this morning. Bud says he is feeling great.

Bud Dupree on Good Morning Football: "I'm feeling great right now," Dupree said. "I'm ahead of schedule in rehab. It's a great thing as always, it's a blessing. I'm on track. And I'm going to be ready for camp. It's a blessing to take the small things from a big injury like there was, and just know that I'm still able to perform next season."

More Bud Dupree on Good Morning Football: "I'm on track and I'm going to be ready for camp. It's a blessing to take the small things from a big injury like there was, and just know that I'm still able to perform next season."

Dupree is set to hit free agency in the offseason. The Steelers are looking to have a rough time with their cap numbers. So it looks like they could struggle to retain Bud Dupree. Anything is possible, but with his elite play recently he could be looking for a huge payday with another team, unfortunately. You can't name a better duo than TJ Watt and Bud Dupree coming off of the edge. You could see it when Dupree went down. The defense dipped a little bit, but the Steelers have Alex Highsmith who looks like he is going to develop into another elite edge rusher in due time. It's great to see Bud Dupree healing so quickly. We wish him a speedy recovery.
