Ben Roethlisberger is entering his 18th season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. This could very well be his last season with the organization, but I feel he still has at least another season or two left in him depending on what is going to happen this season. If Ben Roethlisberger can find a way to stay healthy throughout the 2021 season and the Steelers come closer than they did in 2020 then I think he would like to try and give it another run in 2022. That may not be the popular decision for many of Yinz, but what other options do the Steelers have going forward?
Ben said he looks forward to coming back for his 18th season this year because he feels he has a good group of guys on the offensive side of the ball. He seems to say that every year, but I am sure Ben is happy the Steelers finally got him an elite running back in Pittsburgh.
Najee Harris will look to become Ben Roethlisberger's best friend in the backfield. Claypool also seems to be having a much better bond with Ben Roethlisberger this season and he feels Ben is having a lot more fun on the football field during OTAs.
Claypool on his relationship with Ben Roethlisberger this season so far: “I think it’s a lot more friendly,” Claypool said. “Less talk about football, more talk about random things going on, more jokes being said back and forth. A lot more fun, I would say.”
