Devin Bush suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Week 6 against the Browns last season and it appears that his rehabilitation is going well.
Bush posted a video of him today playing basketball and he looked to be moving pretty well. He wasn't moving at full speed, but it was still encouraging to see.
ACL injuries can sometimes take 10 months for a full recovery, give or take it can be a little less than that too. Being that Bush suffered his injury on Oct. 18, he should be back for training camp in late July or at least a few weeks after camp starts.
Bush is a key cog in the Steelers defense, as he's a sideline-to-sideline linebacker who can play the run and cover tremendously. There are not many linebackers in the league that can do both at such a high level. That's why the Steelers traded up 10 spots to select Bush in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Michigan.
