No one is giving the Steelers a chance against the Chiefs on Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. All the experts are heavily in favor of the Chiefs blowing the Steelers out again like they did in Week 16.
The Steelers are the biggest underdogs in wild card history, as the Chiefs are currently 12.5-point favorites.
Diontae Johnson likes the fact that everyone is doubting the Steelers, and he made it clear that he doesn't want fans hopping back on the bandwagon if they win. The actually quote was "once we win." I don't if Johnson meant it like that, but that's what he said.
“I like being in this situation," Johnson said. "Once we win, don’t try to hop back on the bandwagon. Remember all that stuff you’re saying now.”
The bandwagon is closed.
I don't think the Chiefs need any extra motivation to beat the Steelers. For all we know, they might not even see it. But man, I hope this doesn't end up being like an Anthony Smith situation against the Patriots in 2007.
