Technically the Steelers had 2 players and 1 coach elected in the 2020 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class and 1 player and scout in 2021. Due to Covid-19 in 2020, the NFL had to push 2020's Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony into 2021.
The Steelers are now tied with the third-most members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. 32 members of the Steelers have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame according to Alan Saunders of Steelers Now. The Chicago Bears have the most with 37.
Bill Cowher, Troy Polamalu, Donnie Shell, Bill Nunn, and Alan Faneca will be inducted into football immortality in 2021 barring any changes due to Covid-19. The 2020 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on August 7th and the 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on that same weekend (August 6th-9th). The Steelers are also scheduled to play the Hall of Fame game on August 5th, 2021 at 8:00 p.m.
