Hines Ward was not a Finalist for 2021's Pro Football Hall of Fame but he should eventually get in

The 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalists were announced tonight. Unfortunately, Hines Ward was not selected as a Finalist. Alan Faneca and Bill Nunn were selected as the Steelers to represent the Finalists for the 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hines has been a semi-finalist five times already, but just like Jerome Bettis, he will wait to get in. Even Art Monk, Shannon Sharpe, and Terrell Owens waited to get into the Hall of Fame.

Ward had a remarkable career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He won 2 Super Bowls with the Steelers and was the Super Bowl MVP for Super Bowl XL. Hines Ward made four Pro Bowls and was named a 3-time All-Pro. He was also selected to the Steelers All-Time Team. Ward was known for his hard-nosed blocking.

Some would compare him to how JuJu Smith-Schuster currently plays. Ward played 14 years with the Pittsburgh Steelers and had 1,000 receptions, 12,083 receiving yards, and 85 touchdowns during his career with the Steelers.

It will take some time for Hines Ward to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but I believe one day he will get in. He deserved to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
