JuJu on Ben: "He had a tremendous career for 15-plus years and it would be great to go out with a W"

The Pittsburgh Steelers managed to pull off keeping JuJu Smith-Schuster on a one-year deal during the 2021 offseason. Everyone thought JuJu's time was up after the Steelers lost to the Browns, but a shrinking market due to Covid-19 helped the Steelers keep him in Pittsburgh. Even though the Ravens offered more money Smith-Schuster decided to stay loyal to the City he loves. Now it would make sense for the Steelers to show their loyalty by signing JuJu to a longer-term deal in 2022 once their cap situation is finally resolved.

Ben Roethlisberger will also come into the 2021 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year deal. What is unknown is if Ben Roethlisberger will continue to keep playing after the 2021 season. I believe if Ben Roethlisberger stays healthy for the entire season and the Steelers come up short from the Super Bowl he would like to give it one more year. I feel Ben Roethlisberger has at least two more seasons in him left. JuJu Smith-Schuster feels this could very well end up being Roethlisberger's final season and he would like to see him go out on top.

JuJu on Ben Roethlisberger: “Being able to play with Ben again for one more year. I believe right now on paper it is his last one. I think it is,” Smith-Schuster, who is known for appearing on TikTok, Twitch and just helped Charmin unveil its new AI digital doppelganger BRB Bot, tells InsideHook. “He’s done so much for me over the past four years. I had an opportunity to go to two different teams with two young quarterbacks who have tremendous careers ahead of them. But as far as Ben, this year is special because it’ll be his last. He had a tremendous career for 15-plus years and it would be great to go out with a W.”

During JuJu's time playing football, he says he had some good young quarterbacks to play for, but he believes Ben Roethlisberger is by far the best one he has played with. You don't get those opportunities very often and Ben told JuJu he has 17 games with him during the regular season in 2021. Those games will go by fast so JuJu is motivated to play his heart out for Ben Roethlisberger. In 2021 JuJu wants to leave everything on the field because he doesn't want to leave anything on the field he shouldn't have. So it looks like JuJu will walk into the 2021 season motivated to try and secure a Lombardi for Ben Roethlisberger and send him off into the Sunset with a W.
