Three months after being drafted, Steelers' third-round pick Kendrick Green has finally signed his rookie deal, according to his agent Jason Bernstein. Green is the last Steelers' rookie to sign his contract, as most of the rookies signed their deals back in May.
Across the league there were holdups with third-round picks signing their deals and over the last couple of days there has been a lot of signings.
Steelers training camp starts on Thursday, so it's good that Green doesn't have to worry about his contract now. It really never was a worry about him signing, but just his agent trying to squeeze out as much money as he can for his client.
Green's contract value is $4,875,764 over four years, according to Overthecap.com.
