Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert, along with other NFL scouts were at North Carolina's practice today. And with Ben Roethlisberger at 39 years of age and North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell projected as one of the top quarterbacks in the 2022 NFL Draft, Colbert's presence at a practice in Chapel Hill raised many eyebrows among Steelers Nation.

North Carolina head football coach Mack Brown tweeted a photo of him and Colbert talking during practice on Tuesday.

In his first two seasons at Chapel Hill, Howell completed 496 of 770 (64.4%) passes for 7,227 yards and had a 68-14 touchdown-interception ratio. So far through two games this season, Howell has completed 38 of 61 (62.2%) passes for 560 yards and has a 4-3 touchdown-interception ratio.

Colbert visiting college campuses during the season is a normal procedure, but it is noteworthy and something to remember once the draft process starts in 2022, as the Steelers very well could be in line for a quarterback to replace Roethlisberger.
