Going into the 2021 offseason I could have sworn the Steelers wanted a veteran center to hold them off until they want to draft their long-term center down the road. That doesn't seem to be the case unless they will wait until after the draft to pick up one. Right now the Steelers only have BJ Finney and JC Hassenauer as their current centers going into the 2021 season. Will they add one in the 2021 NFL draft?
Bob Labriola feels the Steelers are looking to add a young center in the 2021 NFL draft. Normally the Steelers draft centers who become Hall of Fame centers so whoever the Steelers decide to draft (if they want to go down that route) will have some big shoes to fill in Pittsburgh. Especially with the departure of Maurkice Pouncey this season. Not only will they have big shoes to fill, but they will have to show up in a big way because Two-Time Super Bowl Champion and Future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger is coming back for another season.

There are several great centers that the Steelers can look at going into the 2021 NFL draft. Landon Dickerson, Quinn Meinerz, Creed Humprey, Josh Myers, and Trey Hill are just a few of the talented center prospects.
