Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert are at another pro day today and they didn't have to travel far as they're at Penn State. Tomlin and Joe Judge of the Giants are the only two head coaches at Penn State's pro day in Happy Valley.
Linebacker Micah Parsons and defensive end Jayson Oweh put on a show during their 40-yard dash, with Parsons running an official 4.39 and Oweh running a 4.37.
Tomlin told the Big Ten Network, "How can you not be impressed with that?" In regards to Parsons and Oweh's forty times. "The numbers are expected, but it's a freak show out here," Tomlin said about Oweh.
Both Parsons and Oweh should be gone before the Steeles pick at 24th overall in the draft, but Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth should be a player that Tomlin and Colbert have their eyes on closely at the pro day. The Steelers need a tight end to complement Eric Ebron and be a reliable blocker in addition to being a receiving threat. Freiermuth is expected to be selected in the second round.
Steelers' tight end coach Alfredo Roberts got a good look at Freiermuth at the pro day, as he put him through position drills.
