It was announced on Saturday night that Ben Roethlisberger tested positive for COVID-19, causing him to miss Sunday's game against the Lions. And now, it's being reported by Kimberley Martin of ESPN that free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has tested positive for COVID-19, as well. Fitzpatrick joins Roethlisberger on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
If Fitzpatrick is vaccinated and asymptomatic, Fitzpatrick will be able to return in less than 10 days as long as he gets two negative test results 24 hours apart from one another. If Fitzpatrick isn't vaccinated, he'll be out for Sunday night's game against the Chargers, as he will have to miss at least 10 days before being cleared.
