Steelers spokesperson, Burt Lauten, announced on Twitter this afternoon that Pressley Harvin III will be out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs due to personal reasons.
Harvin revealed on Instagram this morning that his father passed away after battling a terminal illness. Earlier this week, Harvin posted on Instagram that the Steelers arraigned to fly out his dad and family to Pittsburgh to watch Harvin play against the Titans. Harvin said they found out earlier that week that his dad had limited time left.
With Harvin out, the Steelers signed punter Corliss Waitman to the 53-man roster on Saturday afternoon. Waitman was on the Patriots practice squad. They also signed punter Cameron Nizialek to the practice squad and elevated him to the active/inactive roster for the Chiefs game.
