The Cleveland Browns won their first playoff game since the 1994 season when they upset the Steelers, 48-37, last Sunday night in the wild-card game. As you can imagine, Browns fans are feeling pretty good about their team right now. It's been 26 years since the Browns have been this good. Their fans have certainly endured a lot of suffering over the years.
They are also having some fun with JuJu Smith-Schuster's now-infamous "The Browns is the Browns" remark he made in the week leading up to last Sunday night's game. There have been T-shirts and hoodies made with Smith-Schuster's comment, and it's even on a billboard on I-271 in Ohio.
This isn't the only billboard with the slogan either, as there are several ones in the state of Ohio. I can't imagine seeing several Steelers billboards in Western Pennsylvania trolling the opposing team after a playoff win, but as you can see, last week's win over the Steelers was basically the Super Bowl for Browns fans.
The Browns face the Kansas City Chiefs today at 3:05 p.m. in the divisional round game and are 8-point underdogs. We'll have to see if their playoff win against the Steelers was an anomaly and they turn back to being the same old Browns. I'm betting on the latter. I wonder how long they'll keep up the billboards though? Probably until September when the 2021 season starts.
