After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Steelers announced on Wednesday that they're heading back to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. for training camp.
The Steelers held training camp at Heinz Field the last two seasons, which broke a 54-year tradition of holding camp at Saint Vincent College. It'll be the first training camp in Latrobe for players like Minkah Fitzpatrick, Chase Claypool and Najee Harris.
"We are very excited to return to Saint Vincent College for our Training Camp later this summer," Steelers President Art Rooney II said in a statement. "We always appreciate the support from Saint Vincent as well as the Latrobe community. We look forward to having fans back on campus as we will be preparing for the 2022 season. We thank Father Paul Taylor and the tremendous staff on campus for their continued support for our return to our summer home."
The dates and complete schedule for training camp haven't been set yet, but they'll be announced after the 2022 preseason and regular season schedules are released.
