With the Steelers defeating the Ravens on Sunday and finishing second in the AFC North, they'll play the Eagles and Colts on the road in 2022. The Steelers will also host the Raiders. The Eagles, Colts, and Raiders all finished second in their respective divisions like the Steelers.
The Steelers play the AFC East and NFC South in 2022. The AFC and NFC division opponents rotate every year. The Steelers will play five playoff teams from this season in 2022.
The Steelers had the toughest schedule in the league in 2021 and managed to make the playoffs as a wildcard at 9-7-1.
Looking at the schedule on paper, minus the AFC North games, the two home games that stick out are against the Tom Brady-led Buccaneers and the Patriots. The furthest that the Steelers will travel in 2022 is to Miami. They'll also play the Eagles in Philadelphia where they haven't won since 1965.
