Cassis Marsh was drafted by the Seahawks in the fourth of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played for UCLA in college. He grew up in California. He’s bounced around the league quite a bit since being drafted. The Steelers nabbed him from Indianapolis, and he is now going to be with Steelers.
It looks like Marsh will be trying to help fill the void left by Dupree at outside linebacker. Joining Highsmith and Adeniyi in trying to do just that. Having bodies will definitely help down the stretch especially with all the injuries that have left the Steelers Defense vulnerable. So, it’s nice to have the extra guy at the cheap price.
His career statistics so far this year are at 173 tackles, 14 sacks, 5 forced fumbles and 2 recoveries. So, hopefully he gets a chance to show he can play well for Pittsburgh. We sure do need it at this time.
