The Steelers signed special teams ace Miles Killebrew to a one-year deal today, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Killebrew was drafted by the Lions in the fourth round in 2016 out of Southern Utah and is a hybrid safety/linebacker, who is most known for being a special teams demon.
Killebrew is a great addition to Danny Smith's special teams unit and he'll provide depth at inside linebacker, especially when the Steelers go to their sub-packages which is pretty often given how the league has changed and is pass-happy.
Killebrew, 27, has started four games in his five seasons with Detroit and has recorded 105 total tackles, 88 of them being solos, a forced fumble and two interceptions.
