The Steelers will change up their regular 1:30 p.m. practice start time and have practice under the lights at Heinz Field tonight beginning at 5 p.m.

The Steelers had an annual "Friday Night Lights" practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium when they had training camp at Saint Vincent College, so it should be a nice atmosphere at Heinz Field tonight.

“We’re excited about Friday Night Lights, doing it in a different environment, raising the intensity, and hopefully have to deal with some noise and things of that nature,” Mike Tomlin said. “We’re excited about getting into crowd noise-like circumstances here in 2021, and it needs to be a part of our developmental process. Maybe [it] will challenge us in some ways in that regard that we haven’t been challenged to this point.”

It's expected that tonight's crowd will be the largest to date. It should be a crowded stadium on Saturday also, as that's when the Steelers will have their "Fan Fest" and the Steelers Hall of Honor Class of 2021 will be announced. So, it should be an entertaining weekend on the North Shore.
