Super Bowl LV is filled with Former Pittsburgh Steelers Players and Coaches

The Super Bowl is finally set for the 2020 season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be facing the Kansas City Chiefs on February 7th at 6:30 pm. This game may be played by different organizations from the Pittsburgh Steelers, but there are many former coaches and players who will be playing in the Super Bowl that have ties to Pittsburgh. Bruce Arians became a Two-Time Coach of the Year after the Steelers let him go in 2011. He will be one of the Head Coaches in Super Bowl LV.

Le'Veon Bell will be playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and Antonio Brown will be playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl. They both had as many reps as Ben Roethlisberger did during the AFC and NFC Championship games this weekend (0). Stefen Wisniewski started the 2020 season on the Pittsburgh Steelers and they eventually released him during the middle of the season. He resigned with the Kansas City Chiefs and will be playing in Super Bowl LV.

Byron Leftwich is Tampa Bay's Offensive Coordinator. Many Steeler fans will recognize him as being a backup quarterback in Pittsburgh (2008, 2010-2012). Antwaan Randle El is Tampa Bay's Offensive Assistant who spent five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Many will remember Ross Cockrell's time in Pittsburgh. He was always burnt toast. Even Cockrell will be in Super Bowl LV. Former Steelers Defensive Linemen Steven McLendon will also be playing in the big game. It has been 10 years since the Steelers have made it to a Super Bowl and it makes things much harder on Yinz when watching a plethora of Steelers players and coaches make it each and every year into the Super Bowl. This year is just another year Steeler fans won't be watching the Pittsburgh Steelers in another Super Bowl.
