The NFL have announced their plans for the 2021 NFL Draft


The NFL have finally released their plans for the 2021 NFL draft. They will be heading to Cleveland for the 2021 NFL draft on April 29th-May 1st on Lake Erie. The main picks will be announced on the North Coast Harbor and invited NFL guests will be sitting at the Draft Theater. Some fans will be picked in their 'inner circle' from 32 teams will be allowed to have a seat in the Draft Theater and cheer on their team's picks. The fans who are picked will be required to be vaccinated.


NFL announcing its plans for the 2021 NFL Draft: “We are looking forward to officially being on the clock in Cleveland for what has become one of the most-anticipated sports and entertainment events of the year,” David Gilbert, President and CEO of Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, said in a news release. “While we know this event will look different than in the past, we are thrilled about what the NFL Draft will mean to our community coming out of this pandemic. It will showcase Cleveland’s beauty and resilience to a large audience, both safely in-person and worldwide.”


The NFL has announced teams can have a draft room this season and be together. Unlike last season when each team had to do the draft remote from their homes. The team's draft rooms can be either at the team facility or at a designated place agreed up and must follow the NFL's Covid-19 protocols.


First Energy Stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will also be used in the NFL draft. The draft will be free and fans can go to the NFL experience which you can register through the NFL app starting on March 29th. All fans must wear a mask and social distance.
