You could sit here and call me crazy saying the Steelers could potentially land Trey Lance, Najee Harris, and a top Offensive Lineman in the 2021 NFL Draft. It's not as crazy as it seems and ESPN even says it. The Pittsburgh Steelers would have to at least trade up into the top 10 of the 2021 NFL Draft in order to get Trey Lance. It would be surprising to see Lance fall out of the Top 12.
ESPN says the Steelers would essentially have to trade 2022's First-Round Draft Pick and a Third-Rounder to acquire Trey Lance. That would allow the Steelers to keep their 24th pick and gain a top 10 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. That could potentially set them up for Trey Lance (Top 10), Najee Harris (24th pick), and a top-tier Offensive Lineman in the second round.
My goodness, that would be the perfect draft the Steelers have had in many years. It would be tough for all the cards to fall right into the Steeler's hands, but at this point getting a franchise quarterback, running back, and fixing the offensive line is a must. Not saying any of this is going to happen because generally the Steelers are always stuck in their old ways of drafting the best available player on the board. It still is very fun to talk about.
