Le'Veon Bell got a lot of negative attention this weekend for bashing his former head coach Andy Reid on Instagram. Bell ended up being a third-string running back in Kansas City and that didn't sit too well for the former All-Pro running back.
On Saturday, Pro Football Talk revealed that Bell posted on Instagram, “I’ll never play for Andy Reid again. I’d retire first."
Bell instantly got a lot of flak for his shot at Reid, who is highly respected around the league and is a future Hall of Famer.
Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu also came in defense of his head coach and took a shot at Bell on Twitter by tweeting, "These fellas will blame everybody for their lack of success. That’s how I know I’m built different."
Bell must have seen Mathieu's tweet and started to backpedal a little, but he had no regrets on his comments about Reid, as he alluded to Reid saying something disrespectful to him, but didn't elaborate.
