Would the Steelers cut Ben Roethlisberger?

I am starting to see the word “cut” appear in media outlets in regard to Ben Roethlisberger and I couldn’t be angrier about all of that. That level of disrespect to our franchise quarterback for the last almost two decades would not go over well with the team, fans and even Ben Roethlisberger. Sure, something needs to be done about that contract but cutting Big Ben? Yeah, count me out on that thought process!

Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers have yet to come to a common ground in regard to the contract situation which has had both sides saying they want to negotiate and figure something out a solution. However, thus far it has not happened. Have the two parties hit a snag? Perhaps. However, it seems as if the two are trying to figure out the best course of action for both parties.

The only way I want to see Ben Roethlisberger out of a Steelers uniform is if he retires and walks away from the game of Football. I don’t think cutting him is the way to go. There is no situation where I would want that to happen to a Steelers legend.

Would Big Ben want to play in another uniform at 39? I wouldn’t think so. To go into a new situation with new players, new staff and a new front office just doesn’t seem like something Ben Roethlisberger would be interested in doing right now at this stage in his career.

I just want to know of the fallout between the two parties in this situation so we can move on and figure out how this next season is going to go. I think Big Ben still gives us a shot at another Super Bowl. However, we need back some of those key Free Agents that could be gone in 2021. Will that happen? Most likely not.
